New QC-U universal grid cleaner
We introduce the new QC-U universal grid cleaner, the latest accessory for Sammic vegetable preparation machines. Designed to efficiently clean all grids of all Sammic veg prep machines and combined machines, from both the Compact and Heavy Duty lines, this cleaner is here to ease the cleaning process for our users. It is important to note that the cleaner is included with all the mentioned machines but can also be purchased as an accessory.
How does it work?
The QC-U universal grid cleaner has been designed to simplify the cleaning process of the grids without the need for additional components. Its pentagonal shape features four corners, each equipped with a specific punch. This pentagonal-shaped device includes four corners, each with specific teeth to fit different grid sizes: 8 mm, 12 mm and 25 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm, and 14 mm.
To use the cleaner, you must select the teeth that correspond to the size of your grid. The grid to be cleaned is placed on the machine (for the Heavy Duty line, it is recommended to use the QCH grid cleaner base instead of the machine itself for greater stability). The grid should be positioned so that the cleaner operates in the area where the blade edges are not present, to facilitate the cleaning operation, ensure your safety, and protect the blade edges. Once the grid is correctly positioned, the teeth are inserted into the grid holes, cleaning a few squares of the grid with each movement. You must repeat this action several times to clean the entire grid.
Additionally, the fifth corner of the cleaner is equipped with a small punch, ideal for cleaning the corners of the grids where larger teeth have difficulty reaching due to their geometry.
Does it replace the QC-8 and QC-10 grid cleaners?
No, the QC-U universal grid cleaner does not replace the specific QC-8 and QC-10 models. These cleaners are designed for specific grids, specifically 8x8 and 10x10 mm, and are more efficient for their function as they require less time to clean the grid. However, both types of cleaners can be complementary, as the punch of the universal cleaner is an excellent support for the specific grids, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the cleaning process.
