What is cold-rinse facility good for?

Some glass-washers have a cold rinse cycle for use once the hot sanitising rinse has been completed.  This is an  important feature if you want to use the glass immediately after washing.

The temperature of the glass is crucial to serve drinks, so that they maintain the desired temperature. Furthermore, in the case of sparkling beverages such as beer, serving in a cold glass is vital so that the foam is consistent and it adheres properly to glass wall.

The cold rinse is also useful for frosting glasses immediately after washing.
